Nock

Nock (short for his given name of Lossarnoch), is a 57 year old, lawful good, human 7^th level fighter who acts as the Harbour Master on the Blackbird Lake.  He is also knowledgeable about the Blackbird river that runs out of the lake.

One of the first things people notice about Nock is his limp.  Below the left knee, he walks on an ironwood stump.  His foot and lower leg were bitten off by a giant carp many years ago, on a plane far away. 

For Nock, who always preferred singing and talking to actually fighting, his role in the village is ideal.  The role of harbour master is unchallenging most of the time, and usually just involves chatting with the elven fishermen and newcomers.

 Levelling-Up

Nock when first encountered is relatively passive, and his stump prevents him from taking part in any major adventuring or fighting activities.

Should, however, his leg be cured or if other ways are found to address his mobility problems, he will become more active, and is likely to join with Nigel.
